So, the holiday's are here and yes the Nutcracker came to town!
The kids, Grandma and I went to an afternoon showing.
It was a very nice "school" showing that didn't last too long
but long enough.
Did you know the Nutcracker has been running for 119 years?
It is a beautiful ballet.
Surprised?
Yes, we are rough and tough in this house...football? Yes.
Wrestling anyone..yes:)...daily
Volleyball spikers in the house...yeppers.
But did you know I want well rounded children?
So, downtown we go to the ballet no less.

Ok, before I move on to the other pictures I must explain myself.
As I was snapping shots with my phone, my sweet hubby texts me.
SO like a good wife I text back and then my nephew text me..and then
someone from behind asked me to change seats with my daughter..
so I'm texting...and whispering to my daughter to see if it will work...
and so on and so forth....all that to say...I wasn't listening to what ever they might even been saying about NOT taking pictures:/
I sat a watched for awhile and thought, Oh this would be neat to snap a few shots for the blog:)
after editing no faces can be identified anyways...so...here are my shot...oops:)
Here the dancers are beautifully dancing around...do you see the orchestra pit below?

Here is intermission. They spoke of the history and details...a teaching moment. Pretty cool.
They rose the curtain to show the workers cleaning the "snow".
A bunch of little kids in snow holding candles lighting the way.
Now they are at the castle. It was neat to watch them change scenes.
All the different types of dancers come and dance for them...HOW Cool!
EVERYONE LAUGHED HERE! This part was the funniest!
Downtown is busy and fun.
On this day Hannah drove for the first time downtown.
She had a couple mishaps but all in all did really well.
I will have to admit that I had my own mishap:)
I pulled out of the parking lot thinking it was a two way street...it wasn't.
I was going the wrong way on a one way
AND
I had Grandma follow ME, LOL.
No biggie...I'm QUEEN of U-TURNS:)
Levi wanted to do what "buddy the Elf" did.
Hannah at jason's Deli! We went there for Lunch~ yum
I found something I'd like for Christmas:)
Our day was busy as ALL, also, went to the dentist:)
and Levi came home with a souvenir.
We ran by Walmart, Levi and Hannah found some Decorations for their heads...

At Walmart Rebekah found something she'd like for Christmas
